Appreciate having private floors for non-group patrons. All staff very friendly. Our room was very clean. What we used of the facilities was nice, in house restaurant was actually fairly priced and good quality. Appreciate the availability of bathrooms in the lobby. The physical location of the hotel is a bit awkward, but is within walking distance of no shortage of places to eat and shop. Laval/Montreal transit made getting around super easy, without having to deal with the headache of driving in heavy traffic or finding parking.

Brand new hotel, lots of food options nearby, metro across street, large room, comfortable bed, nice, friendly girl at reception, I was given the type of room I requested and was happy with the room size and quiet. There was no kettle but I was given one on request which I appreciated. I had a good rest and was pleased with my stay overall.

The plastic and cardboard cutlery and plates at the breakfast are a disappointing experience. The breakfast is fine, all day coffee and tea available. . Although on a busy road, plenty of places nearby for lunch/dinner.

Room was not ready when I arrived at 2:15 as check in time...
Room was not ready when I arrived at 2:15 as check in time was suppose to be at 3pm I wanted to use the bathroom as I just had 7 hours drive but no bathroom was offered instead desk staff instructions was to go around the corner to the restaurant. Upon my return at 3:30 pm again desk staff said room is not available and was suggesting to cancel. I was upset but did say and then you charge me as it is not within the hour of free cancellation. I step aside to wait and then 1 family (3) arrived and was given a room. These family was of the same skin colour with the desk staff and spoke French. I was then upset and said there was no room and then all of a sudden there is one. Is there racism here? The desk staff was offering an extension of 1 hour at check out which I do not need but I said do I have a choice? No answer.

We travelled to Laval from Ireland for a very short visit for a friend's wedding in a nearby vineyard. We had a day to ourselves and went into the Old Port in the afternoon. We used bus and metro to get there. Not speaking French was a disadvantage but staff at the Metro helped us choose the right tickets for our travel.AineIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0

Both Laval and Mtl are great cities to visit, when you have great, beautiful friends who live and work there. When i visit we love going out to excellent night-time restaurants around the Centropolis-Laval and to go shopping together around both Carrefour Laval and nearby Mtl. Easy to get around- not all clogged up like Montreal. Easy to just hop in to downtown Montreal and then get back out to some peaceful sleep. Cinema’s great (my daughter and her cousins love it), just like the other attractions. Laval is modern and easy to get around.Deekny02Canada

Called manager Loic., he came and put a small, noisy portable AC in the living room. He didn’t have AC available for the bedrooms. The apartment was very hot and manager told me that I had to look for a hotel room in the area. Ahova up till now is refusing to refund me for the stay and I will file a complaint in the city of Laval and I am preparing a lawsuit against this company for deception.

The desk person during the day was nice enough to check us in when we arrived early. We had an issue with the first room being too warm and the AC not sufficiently cooling it, and the night desk person was able to get us another room that was much cooler. The breakfast was also the best one we had during our trip. The croissants were amazing!! And the hotel had easy access to the metro and downtown Montreal.

Nice renovated room, was very spacious, bathroom shower was great, parking was free and right in front of the rooms, also liked the location in Laval—there were a lot of restaurants and amenities close by to this motel, very convenient if you are doing things in this area. Staff was very accommodating and treated us well.
